EcoKinly Shortlisted for Goss.ie Women of the Year Best Start-Up Award

We're thrilled to announce that Kate Doyle of EcoKinly has been shortlisted for Best Start-Up at the 2026 Goss.ie Women of the Year Awards. This recognition is a proud moment and a testament to the mission we've been building since day one.

Founded by Wexford mum-of-two Kate Doyle in 2022, EcoKinly started as a small online business from a spare room—born from a simple question: why are reusable nappies so difficult to find? What began as a personal solution to the overwhelming volume of disposable waste has grown into a thriving Irish brand now stocked in pharmacies, baby stores, and swimming pools across the country.

A Year of Recognition

The Goss.ie shortlist places EcoKinly among just seven businesses nationally recognised in the Best Start-Up category, sponsored by the Local Enterprise Office. This nomination follows an incredible year that includes:

  • Selection to represent Wexford at the 2026 National Enterprise Awards
  • Sustainability Champion award at the Business of Craft Awards
  • Expanding retail partnerships across Ireland
  • Continued growth of our reusable hygiene range

Reuse Made Accessible

Kate's vision has always been clear: make reuse a normal, accessible choice for families. From reusable nappies to wipes, period care, swim nappies, and training pants, EcoKinly is proving that an Irish challenger brand from Wexford can compete at the highest level—even in categories dominated by the world's biggest consumer brands.

The winners of the Goss.ie Women of the Year Awards will be announced at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dún Laoghaire on October 11. We can't wait to see what's ahead.

Thank you to everyone who has supported EcoKinly on this journey. Here's to making reuse the new normal.
