Making Reusables Work for Real Families
A key theme of the conversation was breaking down the barriers that have kept reusable products in the margins.
EcoKinly focuses on:
- Simplicity in design (no complicated systems)
- Education and support for parents
- Creating products that fit seamlessly into everyday routines
As Kate explained, many parents want to make more sustainable choices, but need solutions that are practical, not overwhelming.
Tackling a Global Waste Problem
The scale of the issue is significant with disposable nappies contributing heavily to household waste in Ireland and globally - 300,000 disposable nappies are binned every minute.
EcoKinly is part of a new wave of businesses addressing this challenge by:
- Reducing reliance on single-use products
- Offering cost-saving alternatives for families
- Supporting a shift towards more circular, sustainable systems
We’re incredibly proud to be part of the conversation shaping the future of parenting products and this is just the beginning.
