EcoKinly Wins Sustainability Champion Award at Showcase 2026

EcoKinly Wins Sustainability Champion Award at Showcase 2026

We’re incredibly proud to share some exciting news,  EcoKinly has been awarded Sustainability Champion 2026 at the Business of Craft Awards in Dublin. This national recognition celebrates our commitment to creating practical, high-quality reusable products that help families live more sustainably.

For us, this award is not just a milestone for EcoKinly, it’s a reflection of the growing movement of families across Ireland choosing reusable options every day.

A Brand Built on Accessible Sustainability

EcoKinly was founded by Kate Doyle, a mother who wanted sustainable choices to be easier for families to access and use. After noticing that reusable products were largely absent from mainstream retail shelves, Kate set out to create solutions that were practical, comfortable and simple for everyday family life.

Today, EcoKinly designs a range of reusable products that help families reduce waste without compromising on convenience. Our collection includes:

  • Reusable cloth nappies
  • Reusable wipes
  • Wet bags
  • Reusable period products

Each product is designed with real families in mind, easy to use, easy to care for and gentle on skin, making them ideal for beginners and busy households alike.

Tackling One of the Largest Household Waste Streams

Disposable nappies are one of the largest contributors to household waste, making up a significant portion of landfill across Ireland - up to 10% of all household waste. By offering well-designed reusable alternatives, EcoKinly aims to make it easier for families to reduce waste while saving money and choosing products that last.

As more communities embrace sustainable initiatives, from repair cafés to the Deposit Return Scheme, we are seeing a growing number of families looking for ways to incorporate reusable practices into their everyday lives.

This shift towards circular thinking is exactly what EcoKinly was created to support.

Recognised at the Business of Craft Awards

Kate Doyle was honoured to receive the Sustainability Champion 2026 award, recognising EcoKinly’s dedication to creating reusable products that support more sustainable lifestyles for families across Ireland.

The Business of Craft Awards celebrate the commercial talent, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit behind Ireland’s craft and design businesses. The awards are organised by Local Enterprise Offices (LEO) in collaboration with Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) and Enterprise Ireland.

Now in its third year, the awards highlight businesses that combine creativity with strong business practice and meaningful impact.

Thank You to Our Community

This award belongs to the entire EcoKinly community, the families who choose reusable products, the retailers who champion sustainable alternatives, and everyone working to make waste reduction part of everyday life. A special thank you to the team in Wexford Local Enterprise Office for Supporting EcoKinly from the start.

Every reusable nappy, wipe and wet bag used helps reduce waste and move us closer to a more circular future.

Thank you for being part of the EcoKinly journey
